You can replenish stock by using the Order command from almost any screen in BookManager. If the title is being special ordered for a customer, simply attach their name. Any title can be ordered the moment you realize the need, or from a variety of on-screen reports such as sales or reorder reports.
Knowing what is on order, backordered, special ordered, received or cancelled is only a keystroke away. View orders by purchase order, supplier, customer, ISBN, or date entered. View the entire history for a title or just the items received on a particular invoice. No matter what you need to know in BookManager, it takes only a second to find it.
You'll never double order again because BookManager shows with whom and when previous orders were placed.

Sending Orders
As pending orders accumulate, they are grouped by supplier and can be processed one-at-a-time, or sent in a batch from the Order Processing screen. The summary screen can be filtered to show the suppliers that have pending orders and if their minimum has been met. There are many different avenues for sending your order depending on who you are ordering from. Most suppliers accept and would prefer EDI orders (such as Booknet/Pubnet or NetFTP). When ordering using this method, you will receive confirmations, and electronic invoices. Orders can also be sent by Fax, Email, or Phone.

Special Orders
Many books that customers request will not be in your inventory. By searching TitleLink you can use limited information that a customer might have to find the book and then order it right on the screen. PubStock will tell you whom you can buy it from and how much it costs. A customer name is then attached to the order. If a customer calls to inquire about their orders, the Customer screen provides you a detailed status and activity of their account.
Online Web Orders
If you are eligible for BookManager's WebStore service, you also have the ability to place orders on behalf of your store from literally anywhere in the world. Whether you heard about what's bound to be a hot new title on Oprah, or simply were browsing through a vendors catalogue on the site, ordering titles for your store is as simple as hitting "Add to cart". The order processing screen is very similar to what is displayed in your BookManager program and therefore makes the procedure seamlessly efficient. If you are also subscribing to our online BackUp subscription, you have the ability to assign your own bookstores classes to titles as they are ordered from the site.
